Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer to manage diverse control system projects from concept to commissioning. You will lead startup activities, FATs, and customer interfacing, ensuring execution on time and within budget.

You’ll apply your deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or software domains, interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams, and craft instrumentation specifications while upholding our quality standards and IT/network considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum with relevant technical experience.
• Typically, 4+ years total experience.
• Proven Track Record: 2+ years as Lead Control Systems Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage control system projects end-to-end, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Lead startup and commissioning of control systems and perform FATs.
• Read P&ID and wiring diagrams; provide feedback on field conditions vs drawings.
• Develop instrumentation specifications for complex control systems.
• Apply IT/network considerations to control system integration.
• Communicate effectively with customers; follow site standards and procedures.
