Job summary

Thermo Systems, a global control systems integrator, seeks a Senior Control Systems Project Engineer in New Jersey. This role leads multiple projects, guides a team, and delivers end-to-end control solutions for complex systems in critical markets.

The candidate will mentor staff, interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams, develop HMI/PLC applications, and ensure adherence to the QMS while designing IT and network infrastructure related to control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading control system projects and teams.
• 7+ years total experience in engineering roles.
• 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Create and edit HMI and PLC applications.
• Ensure compliance with the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead design of IT systems and network infrastructure related to control system integration.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
