Job summary

Texans Together in Houston, TX, seeks a Supervisor, Contracts Monitoring Services to lead the Contracts Monitoring Specialists, coordinate monitoring workflows, review documentation for quality, and ensure timely processing of provider applications.

You will train staff, escalate issues to the Manager, maintain records, and collaborate with field staff on guidance while upholding departmental policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Social Services, Business, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience in contract monitoring, provider monitoring, regulatory compliance or similar oversight environment.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in case management, social services or human services setting.
• Experience developing procedures, tracking tools, training materials, or quality assurance processes.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, social services, child welfare, or contracted-services environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision, coaching, guidance, and day-to-day support to Contracts Monitoring Specialists, including workload management and adherence to procedures.
• Assist the Manager with staff supervision, meetings, coaching, documentation, and resolving concerns.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff and providers and provide coverage in the Manager’s absence.
• Review monitoring documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; identify deficiencies and ensure timely correction.
• Support QA activities by identifying documentation trends and helping develop QA tools and processes.
• Coordinate and process provider contract applications and monitor timelines for completeness.
• Notify Lead Monitoring Specialists when providers are ready for field support and submit required docs to DFPS.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff on procedures, systems, and reporting requirements.
• Identify staff training needs and maintain training materials and reference guides.
• Maintain departmental tracking tools and reports; identify workflow concerns and suggest improvements.
• Track Youth for Tomorrow requests and Exceptional Care Rate contracts; provide admin support to Manager with confidentiality.
