Job summary

Texans Together seeks a Supervisor, Contracts Monitoring Services to oversee a team of monitoring specialists in Houston, ensuring timely and accurate processing of provider applications and adherence to policies.

You will coach staff, manage workflows, review documentation for quality, and escalate issues to the Manager while supporting training and onboarding of new hires. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in contract management, childcare regulation, or social services.
• Experience supervising in case management, social/human services settings.
• Experience developing procedures, tracking tools, training materials, or QA processes.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, social services, child welfare or contracted services.
• Ability to review documentation for completeness and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision and coaching to Contracts Monitoring Specialists.
• Assist Manager with staff supervision, coaching, and performance issue resolution.
• Serve as point of contact for staff and providers; cover in Manager’s absence.
• Review monitoring documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support QA activities by identifying trends and improving processes.
• Coordinate provider contract applications and track timelines.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff on procedures and systems.
• Identify training needs and help maintain training materials and resources.
• Maintain departmental logs, records, and reports; propose workflow improvements.
• Track Youth for Tomorrow requests and Exceptional Care Rate contracts.
