Amentum seeks a Subject Matter Expert to research, validate, and update mission/technical content for training courses, ensuring alignment with objectives and secure handling practices. You will provide SME input to instructional design and course delivery.

You will author and update lesson content, write assessments, and build/modify lab environments spanning systems, VMs, networks, and scripts. Mentoring CD1s and guiding small technical work packages are expected; TS/SCI preferred.

Formación

• Independent ownership of complex work from research through sustainment.
• Deep expertise in at least one Section 2 specialty with breadth to integrate with systems, networks, virtualization, software.
• Strong analysis/troubleshooting; identify root causes beyond tool output.
• Make sound technical decisions, document tradeoffs/risks, mentor peers, lead limited-scope efforts.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and validate raw content for courses; verify currency against environment.
• Review storyboards for content accuracy, sequencing, and lab steps.
• Serve as SME on mission/technical topics; provide guidance to designers.
• Author and update lesson content and lab requirements; ensure task coverage.
• Draft and review assessments/rubrics; validate measured skills.
• Support pilot deliveries by collecting defect inputs and analyzing trends.
• Mentor CD1s and lead small technical work packages with CD3 mentorship.
• Engineer environments spanning systems, VMs, networks, and scripts.

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Bachelor's degree in related field

Associate's degree or 18 sem hrs + 10 years
