Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Level 1 Content Developer to research, validate, and update mission/technical content for training courses. You will provide SME inputs to ensure technical alignment and work with instructional designers and graphics teams to reflect proper content and lab behavior.

Responsibilities include drafting procedures, updating labs, and supporting assessments and rubrics while following government templates and configuration management processes.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on cyber/IT foundation to build and troubleshoot training.
• Instructional-design, LMS, or curriculum experience alone is not sufficient.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar problems using evidence and read/modify/write scripts or code.
• Follow technical standards and meet contract and clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and validate raw content for inclusion in courses.
• Document sources and assumptions for review.
• Draft/update technical narratives, procedures, labs, and exercises.
• Provide SME clarification to ISD and Graphic Artists.
• Assist in drafting assessment questions and rubrics; avoid exposing answer keys.
• Coordinate submission of updated content to CM repositories and track versioning.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Engineering, Information Systems/information Technology, Education/Instructional Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Associate's degree (or 18 semester hours of military coursework/training) in a related field

High school diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience
