Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Consultant to join its growing Data Centers practice in New England, with a hybrid arrangement across Boston, Hartford, Portland, or Westford. You will support complex due diligence, site evaluation, and master planning for hyperscale and mission-critical projects in North America.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review civil/site concepts, and help prepare client-ready deliverables while advancing professional development within a collaborative culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, biology, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant consulting experience in civil/site development or multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; experience with CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, data centers, mission-critical, industrial projects, and/or EIT or PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support subject matter experts in delivering complex data center due diligence assignments by assisting with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, maintain project schedules, track action items and information requests, and provide status updates to ensure timely project execution.
• Review site development concepts, including master plans, test fits, civil/site constraints, utilities, grading, stormwater management, permitting considerations, and other technical factors to support due diligence recommendations.
• Prepare and quality-review client-ready reports, risk summaries, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and technical deliverables while supporting multiple concurrent data center projects and site visits.
