UIP Companies, Inc. in Washington, DC seeks a Construction Superintendent to supervise field activities for multifamily projects. You will lead subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met on site.

The role requires a college degree and 5+ years in commercial residential multifamily construction; Procore and P6 experience is preferred; OSHA 30 or higher is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• College degree and 5+ years’ experience in commercial residential multifamily construction.
• Experience managing direct hire workforce and subcontractors.
• Proficient with construction software; MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Procore and P6 preferred.
• Strong schedule development and management skills.
• Understand means and methods of construction for multifamily projects.
• Results-driven, deadline oriented, and proactive problem-solving.
• Proven leadership and ability to work with/without supervision.
• Spanish speaking a plus, not required.

Aufgaben

• Organize construction activity with UIPGC policies and procedures.
• Lead construction process, activities and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with UIPGC team, design team and vendors.
• Ensure projects meet UIPGC standards, contract terms and quality.
• Produce 3-week schedules; monitor long lead items and adjust schedules.
• Maintain daily project documentation and correspondence.
• Oversee safety manuals and compliance with OSHA rules.
• Coordinate pre-construction, progress and staff meetings.
• Manage subcontractors and craft personnel; oversee MEP commissioning.
