Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions in Sandusky, Ohio, seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent for a 12-month assignment to lead field operations from mobilization through closeout.

You will manage subcontractors, safety, quality, and schedules, with lodging, travel, and vehicle allowance provided for non-local candidates. The role requires coordinating with owners and maintaining budget objectives on a complex commercial project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent on ground-up/major renovation projects.
• Concrete construction experience: foundations, slab-on-grade, formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on a complex commercial/institutional construction project.
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Drive project milestones through detailed planning and coordination.
• Conduct daily field meetings and weekly look-ahead planning sessions.
• Coordinate inspections, turnover activities, and owner-facing site meetings.
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent Sevan on-site throughout the project lifecycle.
