Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a qualified Superintendent to oversee day-to-day job-site operations including scheduling, production, procurement of materials, and equipment on a healthcare construction project. You will supervise direct labor, manage contracted work, and ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, and schedule targets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction and at least 5 years of commercial construction experience, with healthcare projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Healthcare construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study project specifications to plan procedures and staffing.
• Develop and use look-ahead schedules with the Project Manager.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Coordinate meetings with Project Manager, subcontractors, and clients.
• Inspect work for conformance to plans, budgets, and schedules.
