Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for complex ground-up and renovation projects in the DMV region. You will coordinate with project management, owners, architects and subcontractors to deliver quality work on schedule, while mentoring field staff.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial construction and general contracting experience, with strong scheduling, safety leadership, and Procore literacy. A competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Ground-up construction experience.
• Renovation and occupied-facility construction experience.
• K-12, higher education, municipal, institutional, or commercial construction experience.
• General contracting experience.
• Field operations leadership.
• Subcontractor management.
• Construction scheduling, including short-term and look-ahead.
• Site logistics planning and quality control.
• Construction safety management and OSHA knowledge.
• Drawing and specification interpretation.
• RFI and submittal coordination.
• Inspection and permitting coordination.
• Owner and architect coordination; collaboration with project management.
• Schedule and milestone management; punch list and closeout.
• Mentoring of Superintendent and field staff.
• Procore proficiency and software literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership throughout the construction process.
• Coordinate closely with project management, subcontractors, owners, architects and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field personnel.
• Oversee scheduling, site logistics, safety, quality control, and closeout activities.
