Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Construction Superintendent for the Blue Point Project. You will oversee total quality management of greenfield construction, directing planning, execution, and collaboration with contractors while ensuring safety and quality standards are met to build the new facility.

The role requires coordinating with project managers, operations, and engineering teams to deliver on-time, on-budget construction with rigorous documentation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact between Project Managers, contractor leadership, operations, EHS, procurement, accounting and legal for construction decisions.
• Manage and lead scheduling interfaces with project management to optimize execution priorities.
• Identify skilled personnel and resources that influence construction activities and project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with document controls and safety to maintain detailed project records and close-out docs.
• Utilize project management software and digital tools to streamline workflows and communications.
• Collaborate with engineers on change orders, RFIs and lifecycle management.
• Track expenditures, approve invoices, and implement cost-control strategies to stay financially on target.
• Comprehend contractual agreements to ensure compliance during all project phases.
• Work with procurement to evaluate contractors and sustain a value-add strategy throughout the project.
