Michael Page is seeking a Construction Superintendent to helm field operations across industrial and commercial projects in the Chicago area. You will work with leadership to drive project execution from mobilization through completion.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Superintendent and a background in commercial/industrial/education construction, with experience overseeing self-perform concrete crews.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
- Experience leading projects from groundbreaking to completion.
- Background in commercial, industrial, or education construction.
- Experience overseeing self-perform concrete crews is a plus.
- Experience managing field operations on large-scale projects.
- Concrete construction experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field activities on assigned projects.
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Drive project schedules and coordinate field operations to meet milestones.
- Supervise subcontractors, craftsmen, and self-perform crews.
- Coordinate and manage concrete scopes of work throughout project execution.
- Create and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules.
- Deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality expectations.
- Operate as the primary field leader and point of coordination on-site.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and planning sessions.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
