Job summary

A leading construction firm in Williamstown, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction activities on-site. This role includes managing subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring project specifications are met. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in construction management and 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. The position also involves budget management and regular collaboration with project teams and stakeholders to achieve goals effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the construction field or related field.
• Understanding of building plans and specifications.
• CSL preferred.
• OSHA 10 Certification required; OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of corporate/industry safety standards.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling.
• Working knowledge of cost report and labor production report.
• Thorough knowledge of corporate quality program.
• Thorough knowledge of subcontract language.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall administrative and technical management at the construction project site.
• Administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed according to plans.
• Manage project budget requirements and assist in developing budgets.
• Track progress against baseline schedule and communicate requirements.
