Job summary

Flintco, LLC in Cordova, TN is seeking a Senior Superintendent for Commercial Projects. You will supervise field personnel, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality.

The role requires 3+ years of experience on commercial construction projects, a high school diploma or GED (degree preferred), and the ability to read drawings and manage multiple crews. On-site work with full-time hours in a dynamic contracting environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; degree in construction management preferred.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience on Commercial Construction Projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, show drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager in preparation of project schedule and budget.
• Become familiar with plans, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, and all project documents.
• Enforce company safety policies and organize safety meetings with employees and supervisors.
• Employ or discharge workers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of work.
• Inspect the work to ensure conformance with contract documents and required quality.
