Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Buffalo, NY area. You will lead subcontractors and Turner trade labor, ensuring safety, schedule delivery, and quality while adhering to budget on the project site.

You will supervise field engineers and interns, develop recovery strategies, and coordinate with owners and architects to resolve field issues. This is an on-site role based at a Turner office or project location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum two years' related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings and specs.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing.
• Coordinate trades to promote a coordinated project operation.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise and develop Field Engineers and interns.
• Create schedules, plan sequencing and implement recovery strategies.
