Job summary

Madrid CFTL is seeking a Construction Services Project Manager to lead CEI, inspection, and materials testing projects for transportation and building clients in Florida. You will oversee proposals, scheduling, staffing, budgets, QA/QC, and compliance from start to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in CEI/CMT, strong leadership, client relations, and the ability to manage multiple sites safely and efficiently in accordance with FDOT, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of CEI, CMT, construction services, or related experience.
• Experience managing construction services, inspection, or field operations projects.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge and understanding of construction processes and field testing standards.
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and proposal preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Bluebeam or Procore.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage CEI, inspection, materials testing, drilling coordination, and QA/QC projects
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, agencies, and internal teams
• Prepare scopes, proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets
• Monitor project performance, invoicing, utilization, and profitability
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, and field personnel
• Lead project meetings and client updates
• Identify and resolve project risks and scheduling challenges
