Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC quality requirements. You will write the project QC plan, lead three-phase meetings, and be responsible for every test result and nonconformance.

You will supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians on site, coordinate lab testing and material certifications, and present NCRs

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection, including 2+ years supervising inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
