Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support the Construction Division by organizing project documentation, submittals, permits, change orders and document control from award through closeout.

The role serves as the central hub for project administration, coordinating with Project Managers, Estimators, and Superintendents to ensure consistent processes, efficient workflows, and accountability across projects.

Qualifications

• Requires 3-5+ years of administrative or construction office experience.
• Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Construction, or Engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Create project folders using company standards for every awarded project.
• Maintain consistent file structures across all projects (electronic and physical).
• Prepare and distribute submittals after PM approval and maintain submittal logs.
• Track permit status, inspections, and coordinate with municipalities/AHJs.
• Assist PMs with startup documentation and closeout packages.
• Support monthly reporting requirements and meeting minutes.
