Job summary

PremiStar in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager – Construction to provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of commercial construction projects from planning through closeout, including oversight of the Controls Department.

You will lead construction managers, project teams, and subcontractors, drive safety, quality, and financial performance, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects safely, profitably, on time, and in alignment with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
10+ years in commercial construction, HVAC/mechanical, estimating, PM, or operations leadership.
5-10 years of people leadership; direct supervision of managers, field leaders, or trades.
Advanced knowledge of commercial construction practices, HVAC/mechanical systems, and contract administration.
Ability to travel up to 75% to local job sites.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level leadership for planning, execution, financial performance, and successful completion of multiple complex construction projects or a portfolio of projects.
Develop master schedules, resource plans, and labor strategies to optimize productivity and commitments.
Lead Construction Managers, Project Managers, and field teams to drive accountability and growth.
Oversee subcontractor selection, scheduling, contract compliance, and issue resolution.
Monitor budgets, job costs, margins, and productivity to achieve financial objectives.
Escalate high-risk projects and resolve customer or subcontractor issues on time.
