J.H. Findorff & Son, Inc in Milwaukee seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the Special Projects Group from planning through closeout, balancing client goals with budget and schedule.

This role manages commercial construction projects up to $2M, mentors project teams, coordinates field work with safety and quality standards, and strengthens client relationships for repeat business.

You’ll collaborate with preconstruction, purchasing, and finance to deliver exceptional project experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience independently managing commercial construction projects up to $2M from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost projections, cash flow, buyout, and change management.
• Broad knowledge of building systems, construction methods, contract terms, project risk, and sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships while serving as a trusted point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Guide projects from early planning and preconstruction through completion, including budgeting, bidding, procurement, contracts, RFIs, submittals, schedules, meetings, documentation, and closeout activities.
