Job summary

Findorff is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with extensive commercial construction experience in Milwaukee. You will lead field operations from kickoff to closeout, directing crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery across diverse project types and sizes.

In this role, you will manage budgets, forecast costs, and mentor teams while building strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale projects valued at $50M or more from preconstruction through closeout.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex project situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction methods, sequencing, and trade coordination.
• Extensive experience with contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution in a commercial construction environment.
• Established track record of leading project teams with a collaborative, team-first leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations from project kickoff through completion, owning execution, team coordination, and jobsite performance.
• Direct and supervise field personnel and subcontractors, manage schedules, labor, and cost performance, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Build strong relationships across project teams, lead by example, and mentor others through training and development.
• Apply construction expertise to anticipate risks, mitigate issues, and keep projects moving forward.
• Drive procurement: bidding, contracting, subcontractor/vendor selection, and submittals to align with timelines.
