Findorff, a local Milwaukee construction firm with 50+ years of service, seeks a Project Manager for the Special Projects Group to lead complex commercial projects from planning through closeout.

This role requires independent management of projects up to $2M, strong financial oversight, and a focus on client relationships, safety, and quality.

You’ll partner with field teams and help develop others while supporting business development and community presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience independently managing commercial construction projects up to $2M from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost projections, cash flow, buyout, and change management.
• Broad knowledge of building systems, construction methods, contract terms, project risk, and sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships while serving as a trusted point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from early planning through closeout, building relationships with clients and trade partners.
• Guide projects from planning to completion, including budgeting, procurement, schedules, and closeout.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure a positive owner experience.
• Lead buyout, subcontractor and change order negotiations, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Collaborate with field teams to support safety, quality, and productivity.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Support business development through client relations and proposals.
