Job summary

Hourigan is seeking a collaborative Project Manager to drive complex construction projects from initiation to close-out in Rock Hill, SC. You will coordinate with the superintendent, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates bring a 5–7 year track record in general contracting, a BS in Construction Management or related field, and proficiency with Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5-7 years of general contracting experience
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Construction estimating, means and methods, accounting, document administration, and a thorough understanding of industry practices.
• Application of LEED certifications is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Previous experience managing employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all project finances and internal financial reporting.
• Coordinate all activities with the Superintendent and project team.
• Organize, understand, and maintain up-to-date contract documents.
• Prepare the project construction schedule with input from Superintendent and subcontractors.
• Coordinate the final project budget with procurement.
• Review and approve all subcontracts.
• Approve master submittal schedule and submittal log.
• Schedule and conduct owner/subcontractor coordination and preconstruction meetings.
• Assist Superintendent with schedule management and safety procedures.
• Oversee RFIs, RFPs, and change orders; manage budget revisions.
• Ensure monthly owner applications for payment are prepared and submitted.
• Oversee project logs, close-out activities, and safety program adherence.
• Foster a team culture aligned with Hourigan's mission and SHMS.
