Job summary

Hourigan in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager through all phases of a project, from planning and procurement to execution and closeout. The position typically manages multiple projects at once, across different stages, under supervision.

The ideal candidate will be organized, a strong communicator, and capable of coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams while tracking schedules, budgets, and change orders.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2-5 years of progressive construction-related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partial project ownership including preparation of project construction documents.
• Manage project schedule with PM, Superintendent, and subs for input.
• Track project budgets and prepare subcontract terms and conditions.
• Assist with buyout, submittal schedules, and change orders.
• Prepare monthly Applications for Payment and assist in close-out activities.
