Job summary

Place Services Inc. in Canton, GA, is seeking a Construction Project Manager within our Design Build General Contracting Division. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive pre-construction through closeout, and ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery with a strong safety and quality focus.

Ideal candidate brings 5+ years in commercial construction, a relevant degree, and proficiency with PM tools like MS Project, Procore, Fieldwire, and ERP systems; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing full lifecycle commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with full-scope commercial construction workflows, scheduling, and coordination.
• Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Fieldwire, Procore) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse project teams with accountability and mentor junior staff.
• Oversee projects from initiation to closeout, develop schedules and allocate resources.
• Own the project budget from pre-construction to completion, manage change orders and margins.
• Ensure contract compliance and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain clear client and stakeholder communications and lead meetings.
• Apply construction knowledge to sequencing, supplier coordination, and material sourcing.
