JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager within the Advanced Facilities Group in Orlando. You will lead complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with owners, designers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Role emphasizes safety, schedule management, cost control, and early collaboration with the preconstruction team to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical facilities, data centers, and manufacturing projects.

• Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff; investigates incidents and retrains as needed.
• Manages the JE Dunn prestart process.
• Supports preconstruction with quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope development, review, bid packages, schedule, and bid advertisement.
• Leads buyout schedule planning; verifies pricing and scope; manages subcontracts.
• Manages submittal schedule; coordinates priorities; reviews shop drawings and samples.
• Ensures approved submittals are returned to subcontractors per schedule.
• Coordinates with Logistics for pricing on materials and equipment.
• Coordinates with risk management for bonding and risk analysis.
• Coordinates stakeholders including subcontractors, owner, field, design team, and vendors.
• Disseminates change requests to subcontractors; evaluates pricing.
• Prepares, submits, and obtains owner/architect approval for change requests.
• Leads meetings such as monthly reviews, progress, and OAC meetings.
• Completes monthly subcontractor and owner pay applications.
• Prepares project schedule with the Project Superintendent and updates for preconstruction and construction.
• Identifies schedule impacts and mitigates through planning.
• Provides written documentation for decisions affecting budget, schedule, legal, quality, or safety.
• Provides regular reporting and analysis of project status and profitability.
• Prepares monthly cost and margin forecasts; reviews budget variances.
• Leads project closeout with punch lists, warranties, etc.
• Interfaces with legal counsel as appropriate.
