Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Project Manager for CORE projects in Iowa City. You will lead safety initiatives, manage prestart and submittal processes, coordinate bid packages, and drive lean practices to optimize schedules and budgets.

The role requires 5+ years of construction management experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong proficiency with project management tools and MS Office. Occasional travel and non-traditional hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the project’s safety culture and mentor others.
• Manage the prestart process and submittal schedule.
• Support preconstruction with quantity takeoff, coordination, bid packaging and schedule development.
• Lead buyout schedule, pricing verification and subcontract management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely submittals and approvals.
• Provide written documentation on budget, schedule, quality and safety decisions.
