Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Project Executive to lead a large project team or multiple smaller teams on site, directing overall project direction, completion, and financial outcomes. Occasional travel to the office is required for trainings and meetings.

You will guide with an inclusive leadership style, drive safety, schedule, and budget performance, and communicate progress effectively across owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10–15 years of experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes overall accountability for project direction, safety, and outcomes.
• Leads and mentors the project team to achieve schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Manages subcontractors, procurement, and buyout strategies while mitigating risk.
• Verifies cost forecasts, progress reporting, and contract compliance.
• Directs preconstruction services and aligns deliverables with owner and design team.
• Coordinates with business development to align project opportunities with client needs.
• Fosters a positive, inclusive team environment and effective communication across stakeholders.
