Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Fargo, ND seeks an experienced Foreman to coordinate and lead carpenters, laborers and operators on our job sites. You will direct teams, monitor progress, enforce safety, and ensure quality workmanship in line with project plans.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 6+ years in construction, knowledge of Procore or similar software, and the ability to travel to sites. OSHA training and forklift/CDL are preferred.

Qualifications

History of progressively more responsible leadership experience and proven results.
6+ years of directly related trades experience.
Post-secondary coursework or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, Sure Trak, and/or AutoCad.
Solid understanding of building plans, shop drawings, and product data.
Current OSHA safety requirements or ability to become current.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, direct, and lead team members engaged in construction trade activities.
Assign work to team members using material and worker requirements data.
Oversee crews to ensure top quality workmanship and monitor efficiency and morale.
Communicate needs on hours, materials, and staffing resources to supervisors.
Inspect work-in-progress to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
