Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Laborer in Fargo, ND to assist Carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site prep, and daily clean-up. The role emphasizes safety within our Incident and Injury Free culture and supports operations across construction sites in various trade contexts.

The Laborer will load/unload supplies, operate basic equipment, and assist with formwork and concrete tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, rake, shovel, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards, and prepare dirt/grade where needed.
• Supply tools and materials to areas as directed; plan ahead and request materials.
• Operate a pallet jack and a partner saw; assist with moving materials with equipment.
• Routinely operate a bobcat and forklift for material handling; ensure safe movement.
• Assist with installing formwork and pouring concrete; mix mortar and grout; clean work areas.
