Job summary

Hourigan is seeking a General Foreman to supervise a team of carpenters and laborers on construction projects. You will manage day-to-day activities, review plans and specifications, and coordinate materials to ensure timely completion while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, strong leadership and bilingual English/Spanish communication, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. This is an on-site role requiring travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience and experience managing a team.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Procore and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to travel for day work to different markets.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site carpenters and laborers and manage tasks.
• Acquire and interpret project plans and specs.
• Coordinate material storage and delivery to keep schedules on track.
• Enforce Hourigan safety procedures and SHMS.
• Read drawings and oversee installations per project requirements.
