Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills and proven building experience in commercial or residential projects.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation or coordination and safe machinery use on site.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating crews, subcontractors, clients and inspectors.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts related to site layout, structures and materials.
• Experience as foreman or supervisor and knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA/local).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate site operations.
• Lead and direct field crews, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to project specs and quality standards.
• Oversee use of tools, materials and heavy equipment; conduct site inspections.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors and inspectors; resolve on-site issues.
• Maintain records of labor, materials and project status; support continuous improvement.
