Job summary

Teksky LLC in Chicago seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator with 5–10+ years in construction estimating and project management to develop multi-disciplinary estimates across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP scopes, and to manage budgets from pre-construction through completion.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of construction cost estimating or project management experience.
• Experience estimating Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP scopes.
• Prepare detailed line-item estimates and manage project budgets.
• Experience with cost forecasting, cost analysis, and value engineering.
• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing for labor and materials.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-disciplinary estimates across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP scopes.
• Manage project budgets from pre-construction through completion.
• Provide cost forecasting, analysis, and value engineering recommendations.
• Review subcontractor/vendor pricing and negotiate as needed.
