Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hardware development experience in automotive or related industries.
• Experience with GM processes for sourcing, part release, and ECRs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of hardware design and release engineers for connectivity hardware modules.
• Drive specification development for performance, RF, power, security, regulatory and vehicle interfaces.
• Own sourcing, ECRs, and align with Product Cost Engineering activities for connectivity hardware.
• Oversee vehicle packaging and integration ensuring mechanical, thermal, EMC constraints are met.
• Manage BoM, ICDe/ICDm, and ensure alignment with system and vehicle requirements.
• Coordinate prototype, DV, PV, and launch hardware builds with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure safety, EMC/EMI, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements are met in design documentation.
