Job summary

LVT is seeking a Senior Connectivity Engineer to shape how information moves across all products, creating a scalable foundation for AI-driven intelligence. You will bridge goals with practical architectures under the Manager of Edge Connectivity, leading initiatives from concept through deployment while mentoring engineers.

This in‑office role at our American Fork, Utah HQ involves up to 15% travel and a focus on connectivity for a distributed fleet across cellular platforms and APIs.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in systems, networking, embedded connectivity or related engineering.
• Experience with distributed/embedded fleets.
• Proven ownership of complex technical projects.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead connectivity development across current and future LVT products.
• Partner with Product, Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Operations to drive connectivity platforms from concept to production.
• Lead technical investigations, proofs-of-concept, vendor evaluations, and tech assessments.
• Develop and maintain connectivity reference architectures, design standards, test methodologies, and deployment procedures.
• Mentor engineers and analysts, promoting engineering standards and best practices.
• Evaluate, integrate, and validate cellular modem modules; support carrier certification and connectivity testing.
• Own lifecycle activities for connectivity, including firmware maintenance and technology refreshes.
• Serve as a technical representative for Connectivity in leadership discussions with executives, customers, and partners.
