Job summary

LVT is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the embedded cameras ecosystem across device software, encoding, storage, streaming and analytics. You will shape system-wide architecture, own edge AI integration, and mentor teams in a JDM-driven environment.

This role offers full remote work or on-site options at our Utah or Seattle HQs with regular travel to our American Fork headquarters and JDM partners. You will drive multi-year technical bets and raise the engineering floor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Staff or Senior Staff software engineer.
• Expert in embedded Linux, Yocto, and video processing pipelines.
• Experience with JDM partnerships and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architectural decisions for embedded camera platforms.
• Oversee edge device software, encoding, storage, streaming, and retrieval.
• Lead cross-functional teams with TPMs across Hardware, PM, and Software.
• Mentor engineers and drive architecture reviews.
• Direct edge analytics and AI model deployment.
