Job summary

Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. (BVCI) seeks a Concrete Superintendent based at Plant Bowen in Cartersville, GA. New hires will join a team on a major field construction project focused on safety, scheduling, and quality control.

You will implement 3 Week Look Ahead scheduling, supervise craft workers and subcontractors, maintain daily logs, review timesheets, and ensure CPM adherence. Union experience preferred; strong safety culture is embedded in every shift.

Qualifications

• Must have concrete superintendent experience and strong safety mindset.
• Union experience preferred and strong management capability.
• Experience coordinating field crews, schedule and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager in enforcing safety, quality, and standards on site.
• Monitor CPM schedule and report progress of activities.
• Supervise craft/subcontractors and resolve drawing/schedule issues.
• Maintain daily site logs and review timesheets and progress payments.
• Develop and implement lookahead schedules and ensure resources are on site.
• Communicate issues and lessons learned to improve future projects.
