Job summary

Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. (BVCI) is seeking a senior superintendent to drive safety, quality and productivity on complex projects in/around Harriman, TN.

You will supervise direct hires, co-ordinate with subcontractors and mentor field staff to deliver on schedule while upholding BV’s safety standards. You will navigate Local Union agreements, review schedules, manage look-ahead planning and ensure resources, materials and manpower align with project needs.

Qualifications

• 11+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to complete pre-employment checks.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with direct hire supervision and major subcontractor supervision on site.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule and performance alignment with project goals.
• Mentor and train discipline superintendents and lead craft teams.
• Coordinate 3 Week Look Ahead schedules and manage RFIs/CIRs as needed.
• Maintain daily site logs, review timesheets, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Enforce union agreements for local projects and coordinate with unions.
