Job summary

Gerber Construction Co., Inc. seeks an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field concrete work on commercial and industrial sites in Michigan. You will run crews, coordinate with project management, and ensure pours meet Gerber's quality standards from layout to finishing.

The role requires 5+ years in concrete construction with at least 2 years as foreman, strong reading of blueprints, OSHA knowledge, and hands-on equipment experience with laser screed or pumps. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years in concrete construction, with at least 2 years as a foreman or crew lead.
Commercial or industrial concrete experience required.
Ability to read plans and lay out work accurately.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and quality control.
Experience with laser screed, pump trucks, or other concrete equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all concrete jobs, including flatwork, foundations, footings, walls, and specialty pours.
Plan each day's work, crew assignments, equipment, and material deliveries.
Read and work from blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings.
Oversee layout, form setting, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing.
Train crew members on specialized equipment and keep pours to quality standards.
Complete daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation.
