Custom Concrete Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to oversee day-to-day operations on our commercial and multifamily projects in Westfield, IN.

This working foreman role combines field leadership with hands-on execution of concrete placement, finishing, and curing, guiding crews to meet quality and schedule expectations. You will read plans, coordinate manpower, and communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of concrete construction processes, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to understand and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Experience leading crews on commercial or multifamily concrete projects.
• Clear, professional communication skills with both field teams and project partners.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily operations of commercial and multifamily concrete job sites, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
• Plan and coordinate project phases by reviewing blueprints, specifications, schedules, manpower needs, and material requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and support layout technicians, finishers, and laborers—ensuring clear direction, accountability, and high‑quality work.
• Communicate proactively with general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers to maintain alignment on expectations, progress, and changes.
• Maintain a productive job‑site culture that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and consistent performance.
