Job summary

Innovative Concrete LLC is seeking a Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on commercial projects. You will organize daily work, direct crew members, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a dynamic field environment.

The ideal candidate has strong concrete construction experience, can keep crews productive, read plans, plan ahead, and solve field challenges in coordination with the Superintendent and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial concrete construction, including forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a lead role on commercial concrete projects.
• Ability to read construction plans, understand specifications, and verify measurements and elevations.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews, assign daily tasks, and ensure understanding of work and expectations.
• Plan daily operations with the superintendent and coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure work is laid out and installed correctly.
• Oversee concrete forming, rebar installation, layout, placement, screeding, finishing, curing, and form removal.
• Inspect forms, measurements, elevations, and reinforcing steel before concrete pours.
• Coordinate concrete deliveries and placement to ensure pours meet project requirements.
• Monitor crew production, attendance, timecards, and maintain accurate daily records.
• Communicate material needs, scheduling concerns, field conditions, and potential delays to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Train new employees, provide direction to crew members, and address performance concerns in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Ensure tools, equipment, forms, and materials are properly handled, stored, and maintained.
• Represent Innovative Concrete professionally and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, customers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Work alongside the crew when needed and assist with tasks necessary to complete the job safely and correctly.
