Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years estimating large commercial self-perform concrete projects.
• Knowledge of cast in place concrete construction, footings and foundations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents.
• Knowledge of structural products (joist, deck, stairs, anchor rods).
• Ability to assemble the scope of work with inclusions, exclusions and qualifications.
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with B2W software is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Read bid instructions and prepare a take-off of materials.
• Estimate labor, materials, buyout items and crane/equipment costs.
• Review proposals, specs and drawings to determine scope and quantities.
• Incorporate safety in estimating decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners and general contractors.
• Oversee buyout process with the Project Manager.
