Responsibilities include take-offs, labor and material estimates, reviewing proposals, attending pre-bid meetings, and maintaining supplier and owner relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating large commercial self-perform concrete projects required.
• Knowledge of cast-in-place concrete construction, footings and foundations.
• Strong reading and interpretation of technical and legal documents.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating software.
• Experience estimating buyout costs and coordination with Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Lead Estimator.
• Read and interpret bid instructions and specifications, prepare material take-offs.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment costs to prepare a comprehensive price.
• Review proposals and drawings, attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope.
• Incorporate safety in estimating decisions and coordinate with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and owners.
• Manage buyout process with Project Manager.
