Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Concrete Estimator to prepare accurate bid proposals and scope analyses for commercial projects in Arizona. The role includes takeoffs, pricing of labor, materials, equipment, and buyouts, with a focus on achieving company margins.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret technical specs, coordinate with project managers, and develop strong supplier and subcontractor networks to support competitive bids and project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years estimating large commercial self-perform concrete projects.
• Experience with cast-in-place concrete construction, footings and foundations.
• Strong reading comprehension of technical and legal documents.
• Clear verbal and written communication with contractors, suppliers and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Function as Lead Estimator for bids and takeoffs.
• Prepare thorough price estimates including labor, materials, equipment and buyouts.
• Attend pre-bid meetings; review proposals, specs and drawings to define scope.
• Develop quantity take-offs and ensure safety in estimating decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and owners.
