Job summary

The St. Anthony Hotel, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Guest Experience & Concierge Manager to elevate personalized guest experiences in downtown San Antonio. You will embody luxury hospitality, greet guests, and craft memorable itineraries reflecting local culture and history.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in concierge roles, strong communication, and a passion for connecting guests with the best of San Antonio. Leadership and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of San Antonio's restaurants, attractions, history and culture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized service while anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby, proactively engaging with guests and offering assistance.
• Arrange dining reservations, transportation, entertainment, tours, and customized guest itineraries.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of San Antonio's restaurants, attractions, history, culture, and events.
• Handle inquiries by phone, email and in person and coordinate services with other departments.
• Promote the hotel's restaurants, bars, events and signature programming.
• Uphold property policies, safety standards and confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver exceptional, personalized service while anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby, proactively engaging with guests and offering assistance.
• Arrange dining reservations, transportation, entertainment, tours, and customized guest itineraries.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of San Antonio's restaurants, attractions, history, culture, and special events.
• Assist with reservations, directions, and special requests
• Coordinate services such as transportation, deliveries, and maintenance requests
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized concierge desk or lobby area
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments
• Uphold property policies, safety standards, and confidentiality
• Develop relationships with local businesses and partners to provide unique guest experiences.
• Promote the hotel's restaurants, bars, special events, and signature programming.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Les Clef d'Or Keys (Preferred)
• 3 - 5 years of previous concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Previous leadership pr supervisory experience preferred
• Strong Knowledge of San Antonio's culture, history, restaurants and attractions.
• Passion for history, art, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and reservations software
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
