City of St. Louis Park, MN is seeking a concessions supervisor to assist with the daily operations of the concession area at the Recreation Center. You will lead staff, manage cash and POS, and ensure health code compliance during shifts.

You will coordinate inventory, schedule, and training, while supporting pre-season prep and post-season closeout. This role requires strong leadership and excellent communication with diverse customers.

Qualificações

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Post high school coursework.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work and lead with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the public.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and operate a POS system.
• Excellent communication with people from diverse backgrounds.

Under direction of Recreation Center Supervisor, assist with supervision of concessions staff and operations. Responsible for directing and operating the concession area, implementing concession fiscal and inventory controls and supporting all appropriate health code regulations.

• Serve as on-site lead overseeing daily operations of concessions during assigned shifts.
• Provide direction, support, and training to concessions staff ensuring tasks are completed and compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Manage cash bags and drawers, open and close registers, operate point-of-sale system, prepare end of shift reports.
• Prepare and serve concessions food and operate equipment including: popcorn machine, hot-dog cooker, ice maker, soda fountain, pretzel oven/warmer, etc.
• Assist Rec Center Supervisor with inventory management and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of the concessions area, including equipment and public spaces.
• Assist with pre-season preparation and post-season closedown of concession stand.
• Assist with timesheets, staff reviews, and creating schedules if requested.
• Perform various related duties as assigned.
