Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a Community Manager to lead all aspects of a large-property operation in the United States. You’ll drive occupancy, financial performance, and resident experience while maintaining compliance and team development.

You’ll manage leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, partner with senior leadership, and build strong vendor networks to ensure top-tier service and community growth.

Qualifications

• Three to five years as a Community Manager of a 300+ unit community.
• Real estate license or ability to obtain one within 120 days if required by state.
• Proven supervisory and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of property-management laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations across maintenance, leasing, and resident relations.
• Build and execute leasing, marketing, and retention strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Partner with Regional Manager to set property goals and plans to reach them.
• Own the numbers: rent collection, delinquency, budgets, and financial obligations.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain high service standards.
• Lead and develop maintenance teams on turns, work orders, inspections, and capital projects.
• Walk property regularly to maintain curb appeal, safety, and maintenance quality.
• Prepare monthly and annual performance reports, including financials and occupancy metrics.
• Plan resident events and community engagement to make residents feel at home.
