Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee daily operations of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial administration under the Regional Manager’s guidance. You’ll ensure safety, fair housing compliance, and high resident satisfaction through proactive leadership.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, annual budgeting, marketing plans, and strong customer service to maximize net operating income and resident retention.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff using company directives.
• Monitor budgets, deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and staffing schedules.
• Head emergency team and ensure timely property maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.

Education
