Job summary

Journey Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Community Banking Associate to join the Montgomery Community Office on-site. The role focuses on paying and receiving functions, cash management, and coordinating the Community Banking Associate team to deliver excellent customer service.

Essential duties include balancing activities, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of Teller experience normally required.
• Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills with analytical ability.
• Professional and courteous communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate various office machines.
• Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee paying, receiving, balancing, and related operations per policy.
• Lead Community Banking Associate staff and leverage customer referrals.
• Coordinate work within the office and with centralized operations.
• Prepare reports as assigned by the Assistant Community Office Manager.
• Maintain adequate cash levels and manage cash workflow.
• Balance vault cash daily and manage currency/coin orders.
